Company Overview

A2TECH - Advanced Aviation Technology has been established in 2004 as an unmanned vehicle industry support company. As a division of SAN Experts Facility Srl, A2TECH is the italian center of excellence in the field of design and development of unmanned vehicle component and systems for civil applications, driven by CANaerospace. The company offers a comprehensive list of products that enable a modular building approach on this new dimension of Unmanned Vehicle Systems (UAS). Since 2007, A2TECH is no longer a division of SAN Experts Facility Srl, but was established as an idependent company, the Advanced Aviation Technology Srl. The “new” A2TECH, now a R&D think tank covers not only unmanned technologies, but also solutions for manned vehicles in the field of civil defence applications. Engineering and application consulting services are available to assist in the development of customized manned and unmanned systems.

A2TECH and its Technology Partners (Wetzel, Stock, Reiser, OTe) have focussed on the development of a new generation of Universal Ground Control Cockpit (UGCC), branded "RealityVISION - Unmanned Vehicle Pilot Systems", a modular Avionic Suite branded DARWIN A3 - Advanced Avionic Architecture, driven by CANaerospace and ARINC-825 and CamVISION - Video Processing Systems.

The unique features of this technologies, open a wide range of civil applications, such as: surveillance, traffic control, media, precision photography in dangerous or hard-to-reach locations for police forces and documentary, high voltage line inspections, border and illegal immigration control, precision agricultural, fire fighting and search & rescue operations. A special application is reserved to civil and military flight scools, where this unmanned systems fill the gap between the "classic" flight simulator and the big step of real flying.

Research & Development

A2TECH sales office and test plants are located in Peschiera del Garda at the Lake Garda, Italy. Most of the R&D activities are performed in Bolzano, the city in the middle of the Dolomites, where the harsh mountain environments (-25°/+35°) are ideally locations for our quality tests and civil/military application simulations.
